Rono the communist
orangutan
During the early to mid 1940's WW2, described by some as the "The War against Humanity", was one of the most intense time periods all across the globe. In this series, you will follow a USSR experimental "Super Soldier" named Rono. He's a Orangutan that does what he's told without speaking back, without morals and without question. Join him as he experiences life during one of the most devastating times in human history. Fighting a war, while at the same time, being the product of it.

Get to know me!
My name is Anthony Grumblatt and I'm a 2022 graduate from Highland Community College with a Associates in Art. I was born in San Jose, California and lived in Santa Clara. By the time I was six years old, I moved to North Carolina and moved again during my freshman year of High School which I moved to Saint Joseph, Missouri which I still live at to this day. I spend most the time I can drawing because I enjoy perfecting my craft. I would consider myself a Illustrator that uses his skills to tell a story based on what values or messages I feel like people need to hear or know. I've recently started knocking down milestones I have set for myself but it's still a working progress with how my life is arranged. With that said, for any future reference, the new chapter will be out when it's out!!! I have to not only be the best Artist I can, but the best version of myself and how I want to present myself to others as an artist. Here's some cool info on how I make this comic!
Programs my art is created on:
- Clip studio paint (Everything)
- Adobe Illustrator (Logo)
Traditional Media:
- Copic & Micron Ink Pens (Ink)
To break it down I use both Traditional art and Digital Art to ink the line art and color the rest of it digitally! While working on this comic I work a full time job so to try to finish it as soon as I can I print of pages of the formatted sketches to work to ink and finish the artwork digitally after scanning it.
If you ever want to contact me about any questions you have about my comic or want to commission me for future projects contact me through my email (Tonygrumb@gmail.com) or my contact page! Again thank you so much for checking out my portfolio. Hope we can settle sort some business in the near future!
